How do I get rid of ionizer ozone?
I just read that air purifiers with ionizer can create ozone. Which can cause serious health issues like chest pain and other issues. I just turned mine off and don’t plan on using it anymore. Does ozone stay in the air even with it off? If so how long? Also will I need to take some other measure to get the ozone out the air?

ionizer Air Purifier, is it dangerous?
We got this Air purifier with optional ionizer, they say its for a single small room on the box, then they say use ionizer in well ventilated room… thats an oximoron, if its well ventilated, it means you need to open doors and windows, in which case its no longer a small room! Is the ionizer part unsafe? it does have a strange smell which I assumed was Ozone, but now im not sure if we should use it at all…

Ecoquest Air Purifier Dangers (also called Alpine Air)
Ecoquest air purifiers used to be called Alpine air purifier before they had problems with the air purifiers producing too much Ozone.
Can we create a purifying system to decrease polution?
Global warming.
Since what we are burning and using are causing us to damage our Ozone etc……which is apart of global warming….If I’m correct…
Can we create a purifying system that would be built higher than all building etc that would release a chemical that can lessing for example the bad carbons etc from our cars and factories?
I know it sounds confusing but this is an example.
If our cars for example are know to polute the air what if we pass an international law that requires cities etc to build a "purifier System " that will spray some form of safe chemical in the air high above ground to cut the bad carbon and other chemical that are going up…. even building these systems on tall building just like they would for cell phone tovers.???
Sounds Crazy but it’s a thought.
Not just one system per state but systems throughtout their state and country….I know it would cost but would it help?

How to get rid of mildew and excess humidity in a basement apartment by a damp forsest ?
I live in this 3.5 room apartment beside a forest in Rawdon Quebec. Its being raining a lot. I can smell the mildew when I go into the city for a few days and return. My landlord gave me a dehumidifier, but I have yet to use it. I leave all the window screens open when I am here, and any mildew odor seems to go, however the forest area keeps things very humid
Im concerned about breathing in mildew, as its probably not good for the lungs or health. I also have an air purifier that puts out ozone. Would it be better to use one machine or the other, or both ? I think I also need to take a lot of my things out of boxes, and put them into sealed plastic storage containers ? I never finished unpacking all my things yet from moving in here a few months ago, so there are still several cardboard boxes
Once I get all the boxes emptied out, I can wash the wall which is closest to where the mildew is. Im in a semi basement, and on the side of this quadraplex, there is a driveway and a big field of grass beside that, Im a few feet under ground on the side, but street level in the front where there is no mildew problem. I also dont want to wreck any books. Im just not sure how to best deal with this problem, as I never had it before. I live up a mountain beside a forest, with a river running by a few hundred yards away, and a lake at the bottom of the mountain, so lots of humidity, but a cooling relief from the city,
If I start using the dehumidifier, should I leave it on when Im gone into the city for a day or two ? Ive never used one before
Thx much for your suggestions

The guy with the sharper image….. Those things emit ozone which is a true fact, and ozone is deadly for the lungs. Because aids is silent means its not deadly? Yea thats right do your research.

Are negatively charged ions safe for your health?
I am looking into buying the RabitAir BioGS air purifier. From what I heard in the past, I heard that negatively charged ions are bad for your health. Now I am reading that they are actually good for your health and it is Ozone that is bad for your health. The RabiAir BioGS claims that it produces negatively charged ions and does not produce any Ozone at all. This would be a good thing right?
