I have never seen a filter on a residential style dehumidifier, and I have several. Also, As far as I know, there is no such an animal as a cool humidity purifier. Machines that are designed to add humidity to a residence are not filtering the air, they are merely adding humidity. The temperature is neither cool or hot, it is what the room temperature is at the time, winter or summer. And yes, you can operate an air purifier and a dehumidifier or a humidifier at the same tme in the same room.
