EdenPURE Area Model Air Purifier success with allergies?
A week ago I spent about 0 on the EdenPURE Area Model Air Purifier in hopes that it would help with my allergies. I currently take allergy med (allegra) and have finished my weekly allergy shots and have moved on to the montly shot schedule (and will be on this for probably 2 years).
The purifier has not made any improvement to my allergies. In fact, the ozone feature on it I am unable to use – my throat feels like it sweels shut. I addressed this to the company and they said that some people have a problem with whatever is emited into the air for the ozone feature. The employes where I get my allergy shots LOVE this product and I wish I could say the same. I
‘m going to give it a bit more time before sending it back. Does anyone have this unit? Do you have better ones that you use that you could recommend to me?

Ozone when released is a very effective anti-microbial substance the problem is its just as good at destroying human tissues. If you have a bad reaction to it at such low levels you won’t enjoy any benefit from the unit since it is the ozone that is the effective ant-allergen.
Im very sensitive to ozone myself it makes me cough like a 30 year smoker. Ive done a lot of research on what it does to human lungs when they are chronically exposed. Its pretty nasty stuff. return the unit find something else to clean the air for you.
