Wonder why Austin Air makes no mention of how many times per hour their models circulate air? Could it be because the Austin Air HM400 in high setting doesn’t even circulate the air 3 times per hour? You are better off opening your windows. Unfortunately there just aren’t any good air purifiers other than the IQ air. But the units are so cheap and plasticky looking.
Thanks for the reply. Austin isn’t bad – and I recommend it for extremely chemically sensitive people. The IQAIR is a great air purifier, I agree. However it is very expensive at $899, a bit loud, expensive replacements ($300+), and does not help germs or viruses. But if I had a lung condition I would get it. (and I have one). For the average home there are better choices than IQ
