My air purifier smells like cigarette smoke. How do I get rid of that smell?
My grandmother gave me her old Holmes air purifier but even with a new HEPA filter it blows out air that smells like cigarette smoke. How do I properly clean it so that it smells like it’s supposed to?
First of all, you need to find out where the smell is coming form. Is it from the air filter itself or maybe inside the air purifier. If you know how to open it up, you can find the source of the smell. If not, let others help you.
