Any parents have air purifiers in their homes?
If so what brand do you have? How many? And do you have one in your kid(s) room(s)? Thanks!

We have a hepa air purification unit that cleans the air throughout the entire home. It’s part of our forced air system. I do have two Oreck Air Purifiers (used off Ebay). One I keep in the upstairs hallway nearest to the kids bedrooms and the other in the living room where the pets spend most of their time.
Honeywell. Just 1. We co-sleep so it is in the bedroom.
I really like it, it has a nice low setting that isnt too loud. It is a hepa filter and the pre filter is cheap to replace. $10

I have a Holmes. I think it came from Target for around $75. Ours in usually in the living room, but i think it will be in the bedroom this winter since we’ve gotten used to sleeping with a fan and we’ll need the white noise. I love it though, good investment. We have a cat so we need the hepa filter.
We have an IQAir HealthProPlus in our bedroom, mostly for allergy control for myself. We installed a 3M Filtrete furnace filter (rated 15) to help with the rest of the air in the house.
The IQAir is spendy but does a great job. I occasionally move it into the kids’ rooms and run it on high for a few hours.
The only air purifier worth spending money on is the Sun Pure SP-20C at http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/portable-air-purifiers.html This is the same unit used in hospitals and labs for its efficiency and effectiveness. The only machine that comes close is the IQ Air GC and we compare them here http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/best-home-air-purifier.html The Sun Pure SP-20C will be the last air purifier you will need to buy, since it comes with a lifetime limited warranty. I hope this helps.
