Are ozone air purifiers harmful?
I have allergies, as does my 7 y.o. daughter. I seem to always have a sinus or ear infection. I bought the 0 machine thinking it would help with the air quality in our home, but now I’m thinking it might have been a huge waste of money. When I first bought the system, I could smells the ozone strong in the house… now I can’t smell it at all. The machine has been looked at and its fine. I am still getting infections and sometimes I think that the ozone may be harmful to us.
Does anybody know anything about ozone air purifiers??

I would trust your intuition on this one — air quality is so important.
I’ve never tried an ozone air purifier myself because I was concerned about possible health hazards. I’m not an expert, but just consulted with a healthy house professional, and he cautions against them.
Have you considered a HEPA filter (either on your furnace, or perhaps in bedrooms)? (At the very least, would it be possible to stop using the ozone machine to see if your symptoms clear up?)
