Hepa air purifier placement?
I just bought a Hepa air purifer to help with pet dander from my dog, its currently sitting elevated about 3 feet up on my desk in the center of my room, is this a good placement for it?

Most units are designed to sit directly on the floor and need just a little clearance around them to be effective. Any kind of fan will cause a low pressure area which gets the air moving in your room. This circulation is what makes air purifiers effective, so you want to stay away from "silent" air cleaners, since moving air definitely makes noise. So just make sure the intake and outlet on the air purifier is clear of objects and putting it on the desk won’t hurt it, but you can put it on the floor for the same effect. If you have any problems with your new unit and you need the best on the market, take a look at the Sun Pure SP-20C at http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/portable-air-purifiers.html I hope this helps.
