Want to carry on to an international flight, an "ionic air purifier"; will TSA allow or confiscate.?
Decided to keep the air on the plane a little purer than usual; I want to wear the 1.5 inch by 3 inch purifier on a 12 hour flight on a strap around my neck; uses one CR 2032 button battery. Will TSA allow me to do so? or will it be confiscated? I have a small language translater using the same kind of batteries (3) that will be coming along, as well. My goal is not to inhale the floating germs.

Better call the airport ahead of time and find that out. They have changed all the rules so save yourself some time and trouble and make that call first.
No problem. Just be sure it’s easily accessed in your carry on in case they want to look at it.
And don’t worry about being "looked at." I’ve seen people with all kinds of devices.
I don’t know if the TSA will confiscate it, but if you have it strapped to your neck while you are on the plane people might watch you very closely. Americans tend to be more suspicious (*especially* on airplanes) nowdays, with all the talk of terrorists. So I would advise against wearing it, unless you want to be watched your entire flight.
If you’re this concerned about germs, why not try a pill? There are these little pills called "airborne" that are supposed to work very well. You drop them into a glass of water, they fizz around for a bit and eventually dissolve, and then you just drink it! I’ve heard people giving them very good reviews. You should try them instead!
