I'm thinking of buying an Ionic Air Purifier?
Has anyone purchased one of these? Do they help in any way or are they just a gimmick?

I have two of them and love them. I keep one near the cat box and I never smell the box even if it hasn’t been cleaned out yet. The other one is in my living room and does a great job cleaning the air. I have allergies and have noticed a significant improvement in my sinus condition since getting the ionizers. I’d recommend them to anyone.
I own one and you wouldn’t believe all the stuff that clings to the metal "filter". I love mine.
