Do any of you have an electrostatic air purifier?
How well do you like it? Does it seem to work for you? I have one, but it does not seem to do a really good job helping my hayfever. I wonder if I need a bigger one or a different type of air purifier.
I have an Oreck 2000. A filter on the furnace would not be practical, since it would only run during cold weather and I need it to go when the weather is warm. We do not have central air.

The only kind of electrostatic air filter that really works well is one that is part of a forced-air furnace or air conditioner. The small ones don’t move enough air to affect a very big area (more than several feet from the unit at best). A bigger one will work better if it moves more air, but they are no where near as good as simply replacing your furnace with an electrostatic one and running the blower for several hours.
