What is a good air purifier for a bedroom to get rid of dust and mold?

No air purifier gets rid of dust and mold. At their best they collect dust and mold that are in the air, and unless you clean the filter regularly (outside!) they only serve to recirculate the pollutants. The best way to deal with dust and mold is not symptomatically but by finding the source and eradicating it.
You’re not going to get anything worthwhile for under $100 I don’t think. You need a HEPA filter at the very least, and units with HEPA filters which are reliable are expensive. Also, you need to calculate the expense of replacing the filters, because as I said that’s the important thing.
mold is not something you want to deal with using an air purifier. dust is part of life. you need to have better closing windows, that will keep the dust down to a minimum, but it will only minimize, not get rid of. if you could see what floats around in the air we breathe everywhere, you would probably want to hold your breathe forever! mold is something that can cause big problems. you need to definitely find out where this started, like in the floor, the walls, the attic, wherever. once you do this, there are ways to get rid of the mold. Then, after that you start looking for an air purifier. you can find them cheap if try, like you’ve been told, amazon. com and probably even eBay. but to avoid shipping costs and such, check out used appliance places. purifiers come with filters, you just need to keep that filter clean. good luck
