unless this is a new thing…the Ionic Breeze is NOT self cleaning as stated in this text, You have to pull out the collectors and clean them off, they get covered in dark particles. It even states in the directions of the “three” Ionic breeze units I own that you must clean them or eventually it won’t work. In fack, some of them have a light on them to let you know when it is time to clean the innards
