how can I breathe easier in my room without a window?
My chest really hurts. My landlord had cleaned the mold problem in my room. But I find it hard to breathe in there. But I also went a little crazy cleaning with chemicals such as tilex, a great value disinfectant, and I sprayed perfume because I still smelt mold. I haven’t cleaned the carpet yet or my stuffed animals, could the chemicals and my stuff be the reason why I can’t breathe well? Or is the mold in the walls?
I also have an air purifier with a hepa filter, should I change the filter?
It really hurts to breathe and Ive been in my moms room for now, but I really want to go back to my room.
I have the door open and a fan
still no hope

Rent a steam cleaner and clean the carpet using white vinegar($2.50 a gallon in the grocery store) and hot water(25%/75%). This will kill any mold in the carpet and make it really clean. You might want to go over it twice and then a third time without pressing the trigger just to suck up the excess water. Throw your stuffed animals in the washer on the gentle cycle with laundry detergent and 2 cups white vinegar. Add 1/2 cup white vinegar to the rinse cycle and then tumble dry on low heat.
You might also want to wipe down your walls with warm water and vinegar. After everything is clean change the filter in your air purifier and you’ll be fine.
You need to get the air circulating. Open the door and stick a fan near it.
Get one of those air purifiers or the fan-like things that circulate oxygen, or just simply encourage circulation.

A humidifier is a household appliance that increases humidity (moisture) in a single room or in the entire home. There are point-of-use humidifiers, which are commonly used to humidify a single room, and whole-house or furnace humidifiers, which connect to a home’s HVAC system to provide humidity to the entire house.
