Can air purifier help prevent getting flu/cold during winter?
I know air purifiers help clean air, especially for those who have allergies. But I am wondering if it works to help prevent getting flu/cold by purifying the air? I normally get sick during winter season because of the people around me get sick and so they spread the bacterias. Can an air purifier help to clear the bacterias in the air, so to increase the probability to prevent from getting sick?
If it is so, do you recommend any air purifier? Preferable economic and good one

It works 100% of the time and you can never catch the flu or ANY other contagious disease if you wear it. Guaranteed….
They may help, but the best prevention is good hand washing habits.
