I need to rid the air in my shop of dust, best suggestions?
I own an electronics repair shop. However, it is very dusty in here. I would really like to purify the air of any dust or dirt, so it does not settle on electronics waiting for parts and what not. I am basically wondering… Products like the Ionic Breeze Air Purifier… do they really work to get rid of all the dust? I once saw a friend had one in his house when his mother was on oxygen and she couldn’t breathe in any dust at all.
So should I look into getting an Ionic Pro, or is there another product I should look into, I would rather not spend TOO much, but I don’t see anything near 0-0 being a problem investing in.
Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated.

The ionic breeze isn’t as good for dust, because the electronic plates are not as effective for dust as a hepa filter.Depending on the size of the room go for HEPA first.
The first video review below is for a unit under $100 for 400 sq. ft. – it’s quiet which is a big consideration if you are working. The other link is to a comparison chart for air purifiers on the market – look for the HEPA ones first.

you can get a pretty good purifier for 100-200 bucks. im not sure how big your shop is and that will/should play a part in which purifier you use. you want it to clean enough air at a consistent rate. I would definitely get a hepa air purifier. reason being, it is great at getting those super small particles that aggregate into visible dust. secondly, it should’t (if you do your homework) produce any ozone which many ionic purifiers do. in a confined space like your shop this could be unhealthy. i would read some reviews and try one out. most of them in that price range should get the job done.
