What to use to kill already painted sealed cigarette rooms?
I moved into an apt that had smokers living there before me. I have a baby due anytime soon. Lived in for about 2 mnths and smell still isn’t gone. What could I use to get rid of the smell? I am leaning towards mixing bleach and water and spraying the walls down. Even closets reek of it. I took a towel I haven’t used from one of my closets and it reeks of the smell as well. Now I have to go through the whole apt with something to rid the paint/cigarette smell. The landlord repainted b4 I moved in, but I am a nonsmoker and how could I request for a non smoking apt when they don’t even enforce nonsmoking in the apts? I also purchased an ionic air purifier which was used before. IT worked for a couple days, but now I’m not sure if its doing its job anymore. 
Suggestions would be great.
take a dish of vanilla extract and put it in all the rooms affected this usually works for paint odors when painting it might work for you
Try incense and aromatic candles… hopefully the smell will start to overtake the smoke smell.
That’s what I do after a get together when people smoke up my place.

Try a product called SCOE 10X. Had heavy smoking renter. Pink walls in master bedroom were blackened. Advised to just "paint over". Couldn’t bring myself to do this and risk ruining excellent paint. Already had SCOE 10X for pet odors. Washed walls down before painting. Made a huge difference. This product can be found online. Cost me around $60.00 for a 32 ounce bottle, I think…. purchased a few months ago. Will purchase it again when I need more. If you have carpeting… the carpets may be carrying smoke odor also. I’ve cleaned walls and carpets. I added maybe 2-3 ounces per bucket of water. Mixed 1 ounce per maybe 16-20 ounces water for carpet cleaning since I cleaned areas over and over. Hope this helps.
lava rocks ….you buy them at home depot in the cleaning section of the store they come in a bag for 6.00 you place the bags in different rooms and they absorb all odors. i have 9 cats 5 dogs and 3 birds and 5 smokers and i hated to go into my home until i bought those rocks if you find they no longer work then you set them out in the sun to reguvenate they work wonders for us here in louisiana
