Air Purifiers.. what can you say about them?
I was wondering if anyone has experience with air purifiers.. I live in an apartment building and am expecting to have a baby soon. I am worried about dust from nearby construction sites, smells and smoke from neighbours’ balconies as well as odors that enter our home from the air conditioner..
Will purchasing be beneficial to me and my baby? What feautures should I look for when buying one? Any additional info will be very helpful..Thanks a lot..

do NOT get an air purifier with ozone in it because it not only ruins the environment, but is bad for your lungs. otherwise a non ozone air purifier should be a great investment in you and your child’s health
An air purifier is intended to improve your indoor air, but I would only recommend an air purifier if you or your baby show signs of discomfort with your indoor air. An air cleaner will help take care of nuisance odors, but studies have shown that children raised in a farming environment have less allergies and sickness. Your body was designed to build up anti-bodies to protect from viruses and germs. If you sterilize your environment, you are reducing your body’s ability to build up a defense. You will be the best judge of what is appropriate for indoor air quality, so trust your instincts.
The best air purifier on the market, if you choose to get one, is the Sun Pure SP-20C at http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/portable-air-purifiers.html It is used by hospitals for its efficiency and effectiveness. The only machine that comes close is the IQAir GC and it is compared here http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/best-home-air-purifier.html showing the performance and the cost of upkeep. God bless your new miracle!
